The one on the left is a factory fresh edge. The ski is brand new and has not yet touched snow. It is exactly how the ski comes from the shop.

The middle ski has been filed with a ski specific, high quality edge file secured in a 3 degree file guide. It was then finished with a red diamond stone, followed by a white ceramic.

The one on the right was done with my Black Diamond Innovations edge grinder. Let me know if you want to see it first hand or feel the difference. It's sharp!
